We do strongly recommend Solid Engineered Wood flooring however if you prefer solid then please be sure your conditions are suitable. Solid flooring has no tolerance for movement like engineered wood so changing conditions within the home could cause the floor to lift. When choosing your solid wood floor please consider the lengths you like as most solid floors on the market are shorter lengths and will look very busy on the eye. We do have a stunning collection of Solid French Oak flooring however this will need finishing in situ.
